Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki is the oldest of three daughters,was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to a psychotherapist Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a former real estate developer with a grandfather who left Greece in 1904 and whose mother was of Irish descent. Her parents got married in the year 1976. Psaki is also from Polish origin. She graduated from Greenwich High School 1996. In 2000, she graduated from the College of William & Mary with an education in English as well as sociology. She is an active Chi Omega member. Psaki was a backstroke swimmer on the William & Mary Tribe's athletic team for two years consecutively. Psaki was initially engaged in the 2001 re-election campaign by Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki's role as an analyst in 2022's United States elections, and during the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, Psaki will host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform. [35] Psaki made her TV debut for the first time after being fired as White House Press secretary.
